Kids need places where they can just be kids.

A place to unplug. Make friends. Try something new. Get a little muddy. Laugh a lot. Discover what they’re capable of. And belong exactly as they are.

Camp Howe is a nonprofit summer camp in Western Massachusetts for youth ages 7–17. Sitting on 52 acres and surrounded by state forest, Howe is a place where kids can get outside, explore and experience summer the way it should be. For nearly 100 years, young people have come here to have fun, make friends, try new things and grow in ways that often surprise them.

At the heart of Howe is our community. We want every camper to feel welcome, included and valued for who they are. Our campers and staff come from different backgrounds, different places and with different life experiences. Those differences make our community stronger.

Campers leave Howe a little more independent, a little more confident and hopefully knowing a little more about themselves and the people around them.

We offer one and two-week overnight camp, day camp, leadership programs and additional support through ECHO.

And because we believe a great camp experience should be within reach for more families, we work hard to keep Camp Howe affordable without compromising the quality, safety or experience we provide.
