Every child and young adult deserves the opportunity to be in a place where they can be accepted for who they are!

The focus of Camp Howe is to foster understanding and appreciation of individual differences. Camp Howe offers lessons in diversity that campers don’t even realize they are learning because they are having so much fun making new friends, discovering the wonders of nature, trying new things and gaining independence. It truly is a camp for all youth!

Camp Howe is a non profit New England summer camp for all genders with contemporary programs offering one and two week session for youth 7 to 17. We excel at creating a community in which everyone is accepted for who they are so each individual child can learn to accept them self just as they are or who they may become.

Camp Howe welcomes all who wish to join our community, and we celebrate the diversity of campers, families, staff, and guests. We strive to be an increasingly inclusive and welcoming community for all that attends and are dedicated to learning and growing in ways that foster these values.

“When I think of Camp Howe I think of love, friendships and happiness.  People may say “don’t you miss your family while you’re there?” When they ask me that, I don’t even have to think of the answer. I say, “My family is right here.”  At Camp Howe you don’t have to try to be something you’re not.  People will accept you for whoever you are!"  Camper
