Heather B. Baylis
Chester MA -- a graduate from U Mass, now resides with
her husband Jack and children Daniel (18) and Victoria
(16) on a 3 acre farm in Middlefield MA. She is Program
Technician for United States Department of Agriculture Farm
Service Agency. As a lifetime 4-H member,
attended Camp Howe Inc. was an 4-H delegate to the Republic
of the Philippines. Heather was first women member of
the Massachusetts Agriculture Club, and has served as a
board member of the State FFA Foundation and Massachusetts
Agriculture in the Classroom.

David Duffie
Florence MA 01062 - Dave is currently working at Kollmorgen
Electro Optical as the General Manager for Periscopes. Dave
received an MS in National Security Strategy from National
War College and an MBA from Cameron University and served in
the armed forces for over 28 years. Dave is married to the
former Janet O’Donnell. They reside in Northampton, MA. With
two of their children Vanessa (12) and Jay (5).

Ralmon Jon Black
Williamsburg, MA – Retired
Sanitarian, Mass. Dept. of Food and Agriculture, active
in community government, serving 16 years on the Board
of Appeals, and the Historical Commission and Secretary
of the Historical Society in Williamsburg, MA.
Ralmon is married to the former Gloria Chacon of Bogotá,
Colombia. His four children, like himself, were campers
and Camp Howe staff in their turn. He has served
the Camp Howe Board of Directors since being invited to
fill his father’s chair in 1978, was Board Pres.
1981-1996.

Melissa Bednarski
Greenfield, MA – a
Paramedic employed by the Greenfield Ambulance, has served
as Health Supervisor at Camp Howe, since 2002. Melissa is a
mother of 3 children, all of whom have attended Camp Howe.
Laura Bean McDonough
Whately MA - current occupation is a mother, married to
William McDonough with four children Bryanne (14); Destiny
(13); Jordon (13) and Brayden (4). Laura has a BS and
MS from Westfield State College in Special Education.
Laura is active in the Weselley United Church in Amherst,
and serves as a youth advocate in the Springfield Juvenile
Courts.
Travis Callahan
Formerly East Longmeadow, MA now Switzerland - Travis
Callahan was an Associate at a Philadelphia Law Firm. Mr.
Callahan received his Juris Doctor from the Boston College
School of Law, where he was a Presidential and a Sylvio
Conte Scholar. After his first year of law school, Mr.
Callahan served as a legal intern with Greater Boston Legal
Services. While there, Mr. Callahan represented
clients in their Social Security Disability appeals. Mr.
Callahan received a Master’s of Education and a Bachelor of
Science, cum laude, in Occupational Therapy from American
International College. Travis is a Camp Howe Alumni who has
chosen to give back to a place that did so much for his
life.
Douglas Mollison
Ashfield, MA – Doug was the
Director of Facilities and Bussing at the Mohawk Regional
School District, Buckland, MA, Water Supply Operator, Deputy
Fire chief and Ambulance Operator in Ashfield, MA., Doug has
served on the Board since 1990, providing tremendous support
to facilities, foodservice, finance and resources.
Ricardo Vella
Valley Cottage, NY 10989 –
Ricardo Vella is currently a High School teacher in New York
City. His specialty is history with an emphasis on working
with special education students. Ricardo went to Camp Howe
as a child and continued attending for over 10 years working
his way through the camp ranks of counselor in training,
kitchen assistant, counselor and program staff.
